My Journey as a Developer

Programming has changed my life in ways I never expected. Over the past two years, I have learned how to write code, solve problems, and think logically — skills which are essential in the modern tech world. Looking back, the progress I have made is remarkable, although the journey has not been easy at all.

How I Have Improved

When I first started, writing even a simple HTML page felt overwhelming. Today, I feel much more confident than I did back then. I have studied HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python, and each language has taught me something different about how software works. JavaScript has been the most challenging language so far, because its asynchronous behavior requires a completely different way of thinking. Although it took me weeks to understand callbacks and promises, I can now build interactive web pages with confidence.

Skills I Have Developed

I have developed both technical and soft skills throughout this journey. On the technical side, I have built several small projects which helped me practice real-world coding. On the personal side, I have become more patient and persistent, because debugging code teaches you to never give up. Problem-solving is now easier for me than it was a year ago, and I believe this is one of the most valuable skills a developer can have.

The Challenges I Have Faced

The hardest challenge I have faced was managing my time between studying, practicing, and understanding theory. There were moments when I wanted to quit, although I always found motivation by remembering why I started. Another big challenge has been reading documentation in English, which at first felt like reading a foreign language inside another foreign language. Over time, however, it has become less difficult as my technical vocabulary has grown significantly. I am proud of everything I have achieved so far, and I am excited about what comes next.
